We are a family-owned business that has been in operation in Portland, Maine since 1979.  The principals are Ricardo Quesada, who practiced architecture in Vancouver, BC and Portland, Maine before founding the company, and his brother Peter Quesada, who joined the firm in 1983 after practicing law in New York City.  Several of our colleagues in the office have been with us since 1985.

We develop and own office, warehouse and retail space in the business centers of cities and towns.  We manage all our own property but do not manage for other owners.  We occasionally purchase completed developments in place and we only rarely sell from our inventory.  We think of ourselves as owner-managers for our tenants, not as abstract “developers.”

Our tenants include several who have been with us for 25 years, including one who has been month to month since 1983.  One of our original tenants started with us in 4,000 SF in one building in 1982 and now occupies 50,000 SF in another building.  We value and appreciate long term relationships within our office team and with our tenants and outside contractors.
