562 Congress Street; Portland, Maine
Built in 1900 as a downtown department store, the “Baxter Building” was initially renovated in 1955 and used as the main switchboard for AT&T. In 1992 it was substantially renovated to modern office standards for multi tenant office and retail use. Large floor plates (17,000 SF), a central location, and water views make this a unique building. This building is fully sprinklered and has multiple elevators.
